My name is Rasheed Clarke, and I’m real flattered you dropped in on my little corner of the internet. This here website is part portfolio and part blog. My resume, along with samples of my writing, announcing, photography, and design work are all here for you to peruse, and my blog is where you can read up on how I’m living after having surgery in May 2013 to remove my colon and rectum due to a severe case of ulcerative colitis.
If you’re not too familiar with ulcerative colitis, have I got a book for you! It’s called Three Tablets Twice Daily, and it’s a collection of short stories I wrote about my diagnosis and life with UC. You can pick up a copy for yourself from Amazon or Life Rattle Press, and feel good knowing that the proceeds from book sales are headed to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
Aside from dealing with my dysfunctional digestive system, I spend a lot of time watching the beautiful game, admiring, analyzing, and often buying the beautiful shirts that adorn the players, and supporting the Arsenal Football Club.
I also love running, design, fashion, current events, politics, and both traditional and social media.
I have experience in radio broadcasting, writing, and social media marketing. So go on, poke around my site and see what I’m capable of. I do freelance work, so if you think there’s something I can do for you, please contact me via email at rasheedclarke[at]gmail.com, or find me on LinkedIn.
