Social Media Work

Throughout my career in marketing and communications, I’ve seen social media grow and change, and I’ve worked to evolve along with it, both in terms of posting and hosting. Recognizing the importance of keeping social media communications authentic, I’ve created content that is conversational, fun when it can be, and serious when it needs to be.

Facebook Live: Nutrition and IBD

In this live video, originally broadcast on Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s Facebook page, I spoke with Registered Dietitian, Jennifer Ball, about the impact of diet on inflammatory bowel disease. We highlighted viewer comments during the broadcast and answered viewer questions live.

Facebook Live: The Seriousness of Crohn’s and Colitis

In this Facebook Live broadcast for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, I spoke with Shirley Lyster, who lost her son Cam to ulcerative colitis. We talked about why everyone should understand the possible severity of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Instagram and Twitter Samples

Eye-catching visuals and clever, concise copy make for solid social media posts, and I’ve created plenty of those through the years. I’ve managed multiple accounts for organizations that regularly reach local and national audiences.

I strive to consistently create content for social that strikes the right balance of informative, authentic, and fun, while still knowing when a situation demands that you play it straight. I’ve grown social accounts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and kept social communities informed and engaged.
